My name is Mrs. Eldred and I am originally from LeMars, Iowa--the home of Wells Blue Bunny and "The Ice Cream Captial of the World. I graduated from LeMars Community High School before moving to York to attend York College. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and 7-12 Reading from York College. Then, I moved to Lubbock, Texas to begin my teaching career in 1st grade. While there, I received my Master's Degree from Texas Tech University. (Go Red Raiders!!!) Eventually I moved back to York to teach at York College in the Education Department before returning to public school teaching at YES. I feel so blessed to teach at such a great school and even more blessed to be teaching kindergarten!!
I am a teacher and a wife, and mother. My husband is Nate. Together we have 4 children. Jorre is a freshman at Concordia University. He is a Pre-Physical Therapy Major plays football as a kicker for the Bulldogs. Aislinn is a Junior at York High School and is involved with Band, Choir, Speech and Theater for the Dukes. Lincoln (11th Grade) and Sophie (9th grade) attend Lincoln East High School.
When I get a chance I enjoy cooking, reading, traveling, going to the lake with my family, hanging out with friends, and taking my kids on new adventures. We love York and being Dukes!
